Ian Johnston – owner/president

Ian’s education and experience in Manufacturing Engineering, CAD design, and welding & fabrication helped him transition into the bulk solids industry over 15 years ago as an application engineer in the bag packaging industry. He expanded into solids processing equipment shortly after, and Annik Engineering was born in 2009 to provide excellent local service assisting customers with challenging applications in the Intermountain West.  Ian enjoys surveying customers’ facilities to see in-person the challenge at hand in order to provide unique solutions, whether it be replacement of old equipment or a whole new line. He’s worked diligently to ensure Annik always represents top-quality manufacturers and offers excellent customer service. Outside of work he enjoys mountain biking & snow sports with his wife and three kids, as well as chasing them all on the soccer field. The company’s namesake, Annika, is now 15 and thinks it’s pretty neat to have a company named after her!
