Origin Nutraceutical Inc. is a contract manufacturer providing their customer partners with ready for sale projects through a variety of finished goods. 98% of Origin Nutraceutical Inc orders run through a dry powder blending process before proceeding through encapsulation, tableting, full bottling services, stickpack, sachet filling, powderfilled tubs or gusseted pouches, as well as bulk blending contracts.
As a growing company Origin needed to expand their bottleneck mixing capacity. Working with Annik Engineering they decided on an 80 cubic foot paddle mixer. Adding this mixer to their facility expanded their mixing capacity by 150%. The previous mix time was 15 minutes per batch and the current mix time is 6 minutes per batch while mixing larger batch sizes.
At the time of installation, there was a hiccup with the control programming. Marion's specialist Randy Miller worked with Origin Nutraceutical on-site to solve the issues and get them up and running quickly after the issue was discovered.
